I think the ad was done by whoever put up the web site. I just watched Frontline put the "fear of God" into the secular left. :>) The show on Bush was well done and balanced, IMO. It's funny, years ago I would have been as outraged by Bush on this subject as JohnM is. But I have learned to live with these people.

I had lunch yesterday at the Beachside cafe at the Moana Surfrider, the oldest Hotel in Waikiki. Can't think of a nicer place to be or a nicer day. The six of us included a liberal couple who contribute to the ACLU, and a social conservative that reflects the values of many here.

But they were all agreed in their absolute outrage about Internet porn. Couldn't get them off the subject. They really hate it, and want it banned. When I tried to explain just how impossible that was, I didn't get a good reception. The acceptance of the idea that the government should "do something" on this issue is just as widespread as it is on the banning of drugs. I think we have a real battle coming up on this issue over the next ten years.
