We disagree on the policies that got us to where we are now. But we do find agreement on a policy for getting out of the mess I think.

I'like to see more involvement with the Iraqi forces and UN forces. I'd like to see a program that puts Iraqis back to work, and get's contractors out of there...except when desired by the Iraqis. This will go along way to providing full employment for Iraqis. The oil fields is another place where anyone who wants a job should have one. Get Haliburton out of there. Let the Iraqis get their own shit together. Provide technical assistance where needed and wanted...but get the people back to work. Get peace keepers in there as a policing force so that people feel comfortable going out.

Anything we do now should be part of an exit strategy. There should not be a long term US presence in Iraq.
