Ted, I never cared that you 'real Americans' stuck the "Under God" phrase into the pledge back in the 50's. But now I do care.........and I want it out. And I will work to that end! Unfortunately, you'll be swimming against the tide here. Nine out of ten Americans disagree with you: cnn.com By the way, the guy who sued to get "under God" out of the Pledge claimed he was speaking on behalf of his daughter, but his ex-wife and daughter actually want to keep that phrase in the Pledge: usatoday.com I guess he's the one trying to force his beliefs onto everyone else.
