OOoooo- I see that you are switching strategies. The direct guess approach not working, the polite 'please reconsider as you are so obviously wrong' effort having failed, you are now attempting the 'clever questioning to narrow it down without Q's noticing' plan. By charting the 1000 numbers on a graph, marking the already determined wrong ones in blue, circling any that come within the correct "closest" number in pink, while eliminating with green X's any that are not yet labelled "wrong" but are not within the qualifying closest number, and then drawing concentric circles in yellow connecting the remaining numbers, you will find you have either pinpointed the Answer or have drawn a picture of a small winged animal, suitable for framing.
Today, while driving around, I learned that Darwin was born on Feb 12, 1809. Recognizing the hand of Fate, I immediately cried, 2-12-09! That's it! Of course, I then realized it wasn't, but I think you can appreciate the momentary thrill. |
