Around here, people eat Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indian, Mexican, Central American, Ethiopian, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, Italian, Greek, even French, but hardly a German restaurant to be seen. Wonder why?

No hamburgers or frankfurters out your way? What ethnic cuisine did they come from? No one would ever see sauerkraut on a hot dog? How about chicken fried steak [also known as Schnitzel]? Ever see the racks of Mueller's egg noodles in the grocery store...Mueller...could be German? Look through a German cookbook and you'll find Pot Roast and Beef Stew. How about potato salad and cucumber salad?

So what's your take on why there are no German Restaurants?
