I was also in WDC and could kick myself for not staying in longer. I've never had much luck buying on break outs. I usually wait for a dip (like this last one). I generally just buy stock out-right since it's easier for me to set stops and forget it. I also have to fight myself psychologically and being able to set stops helps me. I do like to play the index options however. With the indicies, I avoid much of the additional volatility that single company news provides. Have you played any other indicies like the BKX (banking) or DRG (drugs)?
