Irrelevant. Just as people who despise Kerry are supporting him because they hate Bush, Osama bin Ladin moved into alliance with Saddam as soon as the US opposed him militarily. And the explicit language of Osama's fatwa and the timing of Al Qaida attacks demonstrates sympathy with Saddam-ruled Iraq in its conflict with the west. The '93 WTC attack was timed to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of Saddam's defeat in the war over Kuwait. The African embassy bombings came on the anniversary of un sanctions being placed on Iraq. The fatwa against America was a response to Clinton's war-threatening speech four days earlier.
