I Think I know the Gold Bull's Answer: Because Silver's industrial application(s) actually becomes a liability in a severe, deflationary world where everything is collapsing--yet gold is outperforming. Gold ascends in such a world, in addition, on the Wings of the Human Psyche. And silver can't "compete" in such a world.
