I'm not sure how much volatility you're actually looking for in picks here, but if it's just good growing companies ATC deserves a gander.... Cycle Country Accessories Corporation Subject 54199 has had good growth ever since it moved to the AMEX from the OTCBB. They are located in NW Iowa 1 hour east of Sioux City, 1 hour West of Mason City and about 1.5 hours southwest from Bloomington, MN.
ATC makes all kinds of specialty parts and accessories for ATVs, QUAD-runners and all those farm utility vehicles like the John Deere "Gator's deere.com used on farms, golf courses, nurseries, construction sites, fairs, etc. Their snow-blades turn an ATV into driveway clearing machine in the winter - and those are selling like hot cakes. The company is already exporting to the EU, etc.
The company is staffed by good conservative Iowa folks, and they don't have OEO or hiring problems since there isn't much 'deadwood' in that part of the country. cyclecountry.com
pcquote.com The dip around Oct 2002 was caused by the shorting, etc., by a scumbag at the brokerage or broker-dealer that took CYCY onto the AMEX as ATC. CYCY had a good lonterm growth chart prior to the swap.
I see a F-S in their future, since I know they are growing/expanding all the time.
