Buffett says inflation 'heating up' in U.S.

"He told shareholders that the companies that will be best suited for this environment will be ones that either have unique products and services or aren't as dependent on purchasing inflation sensitive goods.

"Inflation is the enemy of the investor in real terms," Buffett said. He suggested one way to protect oneself against inflation was investing in certain inflation-resistant bonds."

Anyone know the companies he is referring to?

Also, is he referring to TIPS? Is he too senile to recognize hedonics? Does he have smoke sessions with Greenie?

Buffet buries gatecrashers (scalpers), selling shareholder meeting tickets on eBay:

"They are being offered in response to others who are attempting to sell these credentials at unreasonable prices. We hope that our offering of a set of 2 credentials for a fixed price of $5.00 per set will discourage this practice."

As an aside, will Buffet ever give any money to charity during his lifetime? Even his barber has no comments on his tipping. Or has he found a method to increase life expectancy? <g>
