It has a lot to do with marketing though. "The Wintels have a larger repertoire of software that can be used on them." True. But most key types of software are available for the Mac. How many word processing applications you need? "Apples crash less often, and it is easier for stupid people to use them(an attribute??) also called user friendly as it sounds better than the easier for stupid people to use them descriptor." This is an absolutely incredible statement. You routinely accuse Mac users of arrogance then post something like this. The compexity, lack of standards, poor reliability and non-intuitive features of the PC are not prima facie evidence that PC users are more intelligent. Those "attributes" of the PC provide full employment to IS managers, drive up business costs, reduce worker productivity and support a massive industry to sort out the confusion. They are certainly NOT evidence that Mac users are "stupid." More likely, they are just people who view the desktop computer as a tool to get something done. I suggest you take a look at a recent report from "Gistics" that discusses the relative merits of the two platforms. "So if you think Apple should rest on it's laurels and be happy with it's snails pace progress you do not have my vote." Nobody said that. Get your facts straight. Bob
