There is nothing shocking about that. This is the basic reason why the invasion of Iraq had to be justified on the basis of wmd. The idea is that America is defending itself, so therefor it is justified in killing as many iraqi's as it takes. And there is no justification for Iraqi's to defend themselves. So if they are caught resisting, it's OK to torture or kill them.

And that is why all those web pages linking Iraq to alqaeda keep popping up. It is so the brainless gullibles can justify killing 10,000 Iraqi civilians on the basis of "well, they deserved it. Nobody attacks America and gets away with it".
