Seriously, you need to take a basic logic course.

The headline you wrote has nothing to do with the words that were quoted.

The PNAC is an easy target and that's fine. They wanted Saddam gone and they wanted to increase the US influence in the Mideast. I agree with all that, both that these were goals and that this was policy that probably would have garnered the support of most Americans. (They have become legitimate targets by emphasizing WMD's and failures in and utilization of so-called intelligence.

BUT GETTING BACK TO THE POINT OF OUR "DISCUSSION"

The headline you wrote and the thesis we have been discussing have absolutely zero evidentiary support from the passages you quote.

THERE IS NOT A SHRED OF EVIDENCE THAT ANYONE IN GOVERNMENT WANTED A NEW PEARL HARBOR, NOT A SHREAD OF EVIDENCE.
