No it isn't on a large oil reserve. And I agree, the US isn't in Iraq for humanitarian reasons. The Sudan situation is indeed dreadful.

People everywhere will have to work through the Human Rights organizations, I guess. Seems the US can't, and shouldn't, be everywhere. People don't seem to be thankful that the US does come in to help militarily. So why should the US do so?

At this point, maybe France or Germany can be of some help. Surely the anti-war folks will be able to provide some help. They seem to have all the answers. (no pun)
