<<< I'm not sure what you are asking about Hebrew. Modern Hebrew is the daily language of Israel. Hebrew is taught as part of a Jewish religious education everywhere, but if your religious education stopped at 13 (bar mitzvah age) you probably don't know much.>>>

From my limited sample, none of my Jewish friends continued religious education after 13 years of age.

My concern therefore is, with so few people using Hebrew, how could it survive? You don't have enough people to translate all the stuff you need to translate to get a decent modern education.

Anyhow, enough of this serious stuff. Let me do some low level pandering (I hope you are not offended). I don't know what this has to do with anything, but every so often I really need to get some good laughs.

I love Curb Your Enthusiasm with Larry David. There was some seriously funny episodes:

1 - The one where he invites a holocaust survivor and a cast member from the Survivor TV show to dinner mistakenly thinking both having in common being a survivor.

2 - The one where Larry is in the midst of adulterous (consented to by his wife as a 10th anniversary present) foreplay and finds out the lady is a Republican - and everything comes to a halt.

3 - The one where he sets up his blind friend with a date with presumably a ME woman behind a veil (imo, this was all done without any bigotry).
