Well, getting mad is probably more effective than being sad. One tends to be more active, while the other is passive. However, as I wrote in my last post, this problem has grown to eclipse government... not just in the U.S., but worldwide. This problem involves all levels from the largest corporations, down to the consumer who has become addicted to products. We need an incredible turn-around in the way we think... a major jolt... a shock to the system. Just trading horses isn't going to do it for us this time. We've all got to change or...well.. I think the end of the gig will be up for us.. meaning life as we know it. Yes, the planet will go on and new life will undoubtedly grow from the ashes..unless we've done our act of destruction a little too well. But it's just too bad that we'll not only take out ourselves, but all of the other innocent life forms around us. Anyhow, if this were as simple as booting out some politicians, I would be delighted -- but unfortunately, somehow I don't think it will be quite that easy.
