I don't think I'd be too happy there...most of the landmass of the continent lies below sea level and there are numerous volcanoes under the ice cap.

In fact, there are some worrisome thoughts that increased volcanic activity has been melting the ice from below and that someday the sea water might rush in and float the entire ice cap away in a few monster pieces. Naturally this would cause worldwide tsunami. Bad things do happen and, IMO, there is not a darn thing that can be done.
