Really? Got a link? After WWII, there was a denazification period. Maybe there's been something like this - to investigate and rehabilitate some individuals. Haven't heard about it one way or another. Would you want to bet that after the US hands over power the ex-Baath party officials will be reinstated? I hope not - the handover will be June 30 to the governing council who so far are not ex-baathists. Though we do have the UN working with us to help in the transition. And we know the UN has a history of dealing with the baathists. One of the bad things about the UN getting involved.
