Ted, Disingenuous? I wonder what it takes for you to recognize when a disaster is a disaster.

I'm saying you're being disingenuous because you are pretending you and the other anti-war activists could have done more to oppose this war.

In any case, you can continue to blame Bush for everything, and maybe even get Kerry elected (if you can muzzle that guy), but in the end all of your efforts won't make one damn difference. Politicians will always suffer from the "do something" mentality, combined with "cover your ass" if things go wrong. The terrorists will continue to hate us for reasons you won't acknowledge, and the "world" will continue to blame America for everything, at least until America is no longer the sole superpower.

By the way, don't believe for a second that I am in denial. This mess is a lot bigger than what most of the supporters have predicted. I have always said we should involve the U.N., make amends, swallow our pride, and get this situation resolved ASAP. But just because I don't buy into the "Hate Bush" rhetoric doesn't mean I must be a neocon supporter. Once again, that's just the liberal version of "You are either for us or you are against us."
