Turkey arrests 16 suspected Al-Qaeda linked militants (Updated at 1535 PST) ANKARA: Police in northwestern Turkey said Monday they had detained 16 militants believed to be linked to the Al-Qaeda terrorist network who were preparing to carry out bomb attacks against a NATO summit in Istanbul next month, a foreign news agency reported on Monday.
