Don't quite get what your point is. What I am saying that the way the US preaches to the world, the "Holier than Thou" approach is a fallacy. That we cannot be wrong, that the French and the Germans and the UN are no good and corrupt and we are better has been blown to pieces with the atrocities of the troops. The neo cons attacked Kerry for testifying post-Vietnam accusing the soldiers of atrocities in Vietnam. The neocons came down on him accusing him that he dishonors those who fought valiantly. And today we have positive proof that soldiers no matter which country they belong to are prone to and even commit atrocities. This is a fact, let us accept and agree and move on. No use trying to defend it.
