That is a really interesting chart Chris.

I can tell you that here in Michigan, I've been talking to IT people. My friend lost his job last July, and has still found zero. He interviews, but the number of jobs are just not there.

Also - stores are still closing more than opening in malls here - across income groups.

I've seen it at 4-5 different malls from the most upscale to very average.

One had at least 50-60% of stores closed. Three years ago - it was mostly full.

I've wondered for sometime how the economy could be so good when people continue to lose jobs, can't find new ones very easily, and stores are closing.
