Nokia caught this windfall a year or so ago. Then they get caught in the flip side when YoY numbers are compared to the year ago quarter where they 1st recognized the delayed revenue. Ericsson for some reason recognized a little earlier and more steadily.

Thanks Eric. Since I have been unable to see where Nortel has recognized much of any UMTS revenue, I'll need to dig further to find out what is going on. Possibly the composition of NT's business in this area is greatly skewed to the later launches and they have yet to see their windfall quarters. That certainly would coincide with their reputation in CDMA2000, very good but very slow.

More work to do. Some current numbers might help<ng>
