You know what? You've hit the thing nicely. Spending is really the issue here. I wouldn't have a problem with paying more in taxes if I thought America was prudent in its spending and interested in disciplining itself so that irresponsible spending is rendered unnecessary. Unfortunately America is not prudent and not disciplined. I just read a report wherein it was claimed that millions of Americans are now pre-diabetic, this, because they are just eating themselves to death. These same people are now trying to raise my taxes by forcing me to pay for their health insurance. Forget it. If I can stop this crap I will do it. The entire culture is wrecked. It ought not steal from me because of it.
