CB, time to wake up and smell the catbox

This war was justified by a web of lies and false assumptions. It's ultimate goal was not to democratize the Iraqis or even improve their lot. Ten years of sanctions prove that. It was secure peace and stability for Israel. Even today, in the midst of this fiasco, we turn a blind eye to every atrocity committed by the Israelis. Bush reversed 30 years of American policy to back Sharon's "peace" plan in a bald play to US Jewish voters in an election year.

Today, Sharon's own party spit in his face. We caught most of the ricochet.

NONE of the assumptions of the architects of the Iraq fiasco are true.

There are NO stocks of WMD.

There were no links between Saddam and Islamic terrorists (there are now, thanks to our Al Queda recruiting program).

We are less safe than we were when Bush gave his "mission accomplished" speech a year ago. The Islamist boogie man you fear so much is strengthened by our brutality, and our incompetence.

We can't change hearts and minds we can't comprehend--not Osama and his ilk, but the common people of the Muslim world.

We will be driven out of Iraq. It is only a question of time now. We can't or won't put the forces in place to win; we would need to activate entire NG divisions to do it, or reinstitute the draft.

The harder you try to "win" your crusade with force of arms, the more you turn millions against us. The Bush war is a recruiting campaign for Osama. In fact, if Osama was a Photoshop wiz, he could not have topped the horrific pictures circulating around the world right now--smiling American kids torturing helpless captives. The only resources the "jihadis" need from Iraq is the images we produce daily, and the hatred we will harvest for decades to come.
