thanks, you know, I forgot that. Yes options are expensed on taxes I remember now. Many companies in the 90s really didn't have much in the way of earnings anyway. But google does have earnings, expensed options or no. I'm still in a fog about the black scholes multiple for a new issue though. I never thought black scholes worked as an approach to options expensing and it works even less with new speculative issues. I suspect the FASB or whoever sets the guidelines for this "makes an exception".
