MVL beats by .06 & raises 2004 guidance 7:03AM Marvel Enterprises beats by $0.06, raises full yr guidance (MVL) 18.99: Reports Q1 (Mar) earnings of $0.27 per share, $0.06 better than the Reuters Research consensus of $0.21; revenues rose 40.0% year/year to $122.3 mln vs the $109.1 mln consensus. Co now sees Y04 EPS of $0.89-0.94 vs the Reuters Research consensus of $0.88. Reuters, God bless their soul, paints it negatively as a drop from last years quarter due to increased tax rates...
