My advise was for you to "Choose a clever guy you trust". A long term friend you know and trust, in asset management business obviously, who is not going to just forget about your money but actively follow it and be available when you call. That is what works best for the small investor.

Yeah. I was really looking forward to this opportunity to voice my perspective. It was getting lonely here. "My perspective" was boiling inside me and I was looking for an outlet for oh so long. Thank you for this chance :-)

And why do you take my admission that I can't forecast markets (which I don't think anybody can do) in such a condescending way?

Not condescending, just pointing out the sheer futility of gambling your money doing something you SAY you don't understand.

To show you the difference, "condescending" would be pointing out that your "per say" does not exist and what you are trying to say is "per se".
