To be clear, the "objection" pertains to posts that contain partisan political rhetoric (i.e. ideological agenda) versus discussion of geopolitical issues and their impact upon investments. It's usually pretty easy to differentiate between the two.

The reason that many users object to the interjection of partisan politics on non-political threads is they almost always spawn increasing amounts of other such posts, eventually drowning out the original subject. There are plenty of places to engage in partisan political debate, but investment threads are not one of them.

Oh, and the reason that Ray (and perhaps others) post here is because it provides a means to expand the audience upon which he could inflict his brand of rhetoric, not because he is interested in contributing meaningful discussion pertaining to BB&R.
