This is horrible. I don't know if or how the USA can recover its honor under these circumstances. This more than any thing might signal the undoing of our efforts in Iraq. Because of this, I no longer think the US is in a position to stand alone in Iraq. I hope that the free nations of the world will rise to the task and help.

Otherwise your dream may come true. Some brutal dictator will rise to power over a mountain of dead bodies to become the new force to keep Iraqis 'under control'. The dream of a free democracy in Iraq could be lost over the stupid and criminal events perpetrated by the interrogators.
