I guess one of the reasons I'm so confidently bearish(with like you, the exception of a selling bounce)
is because my shorts have been really working out for me lately.
Heck, I still have some LRCX short from just over 27 that I sold before I went to LV a couple weeks ago.
Thathas to be some record hold time for me in the past two or so years.
I did TTMAR on my KLAC short and some JNPR short yesterday as well as lightening up on the LRCX.
But I've still got most of the LRCX>

I'm planning on shorting more JNPR if it gets anywhere near 24
And I shorted a very small number of YHOO this morning just over 53.
I figure YHOO might be good for mid 54s where I'd be incline to short more.
WRT to the others, I give them a buck, maybe two bucks to the upside.
If theyshow more strength after that
Well, then I just curse myself and start a new game<g/ng>

All said, I'm wondering if we're not embarking on the second leg of this great bear mrkt that began in March '00.
Take the Dao down to 8K NAZ 1500 all before we have a short tradable bounce?
All just speculation on my part.
But I think with the BKX and the SOX breaking down along with broad selling in all sectors is a lot of evidence that people are starting to raise cash more so than hold equities.
Okay, that's about a week or two worht of "IMO" posts wrapped into one.
Now watch, I'm probably wrong on all counts and we're gonna rally back to 2K+ NAZ HArrumph!
