Hard for me to believe that a Catholic school boy wouldn't know that "love your neighbor as yourself" was Christ's command, not Moses.
Hard for me to imagine that if Dubya had made that mistake, liberals wouldn't be hooting and hollering, so please don't be surprised that those of us who don't love Kerry think it proves he's a dingbat.
BTW, if you actually study Christian theology, there's an enormous significance in the distinction (Christ as bringer of the New Covenant), but I assume Kerry didn't study theology and therefore I don't expect him to know that. Moses' law was only for Jews, Christ's law was for everybody, including Gentiles. |
