10:06AM Axonyx announces $20 mln private placement (AXYX) 6.91 -0.33: Co announces that it has entered into definitive agreements with new institutional investors for a private placement of $20 mln of securities through the sale of 3,076,923 shares of common stock at $6.50 per share. These agreements also involve the acquisition by the investor group of 5-year warrants to purchase an additional 923,077 shares of the co's stock at an exercise price of $8.50 per share.
