As I see it, the problem with "terrorism" is structural. The Presidency is intertwined with business, political, and religious interests who feed and clothe, so to speak, the political machinery in our domestic and foreign affairs.

Our foreign affairs are creating the "terrorism" and there will be no long-term resolution until our foreign policy changes vis-a-vis Arabs/Isra'El and/or we crush "terrorism".

Personally, I do not believe we can or will crush "terrorism" anymore than we can win the war on drugs.

This is why I believe we are in for a one hundred year war and the results, not to mention the process, are not favorable to the United States.

In short, this could be the beginning of the end of the American empire and its strong position in the world. Military strength will not carry us for long.
