The article you posted says Sharon's unilateral plan tosses "away the rights of 3 million Palestinians," and denies them "the right of refugees to return to their homeland."

Whoa, having 3 million palestinians return to Israel (is that number for Gaza alone?), is that reasonable? Obviously to do so would mark the end of Israel. But to even give currency to the idea shows an unsavory bias against Israel by the former U.S. diplomats, imo. Maybe the diplmats are democrats trying to make political hay against Bush.


If 'right of return' is unreasonable as you suggest above, why hasn't Israel offered restitution for the Arab property they confiscated back in 1948?
