That's because it's not a good idea and there's no real reason to consider it.

Bush just needs to stick with the team he's got. If he made changes at this point, he'd only be slammed for doing so. I'm not clear why you don't see that. And again, there's no real reason for him to seriously consider it. His job is not to react moment to moment.

Personally, I'm not hugely impressed with McCain anyway.
