you will continue to hear outrageous commentary
and an utter lack of concern for the treatment of our
own military personnel.
These are the same people who celebrated the death
of Pat Tillman, and called him a loser and fool for
volunteering.
The same people who dropped acid to avoid service in
Vietnam and who now crow over their "war hero", John Kerry.
The same people who sniffed at the burning
of murdered civilians and intimated that they
got what they deserved while shouting in outrage
about the mistreatment of Iraqi prisoners, and
that somehow Bush himself authorized it.
The same people who would rather see us lose,
not only the war, but face, dignity and status,
in Iraq for political gain.
The same people who descry racism, anti-gay sentiment,
and other injustices at the same time they espouse
anti-Semitism and conveniently fail to include people
of color in the heart of their own campaign.
The same people who say "Bring it on", proceed to months of
disparagement against the opposition, and then whine for days over the blow back.
The same people who espouse environmental activism
at the same time they use more than their "fair share" of
energy resources to fuel their fleet of SUV's.
The same people who speak of charity, but who are niggardly
in their own giving.
The same people who speak of "Benedict Arnold" corporations
while continuing to profit from their stock holdings in same.
The same people who want to tell you and me how to live
while they do what they please.
The same people who pretend to be interested in
free exchange of ideas and commentary, but really
want to advance their own causes and shut down the opposition.
The same people who built their entire platform on
divisiveness, fostering of hatred, and tearing down,
rather than having a positive message, and then
complain most vociferously when their message is rejected,
blaming it on the "conservative media."
The same people who thrill to news of each new death in
Iraq because it suits their political purposes.
The same people who trumpet photographs of flag covered
caskets and urge disruption of the grieving of bereaved families for political purposes.
The same people who, at heart, evidently wish for
the destruction of this country as we know it.
