I agree it takes two to tango, but come on, an important element of Oslo was the PA's obligation to recognize within its charter Israel's right to exist.

At the time, they did agree to recognize Israel but that was ten years ago and a lot has changed.

Now PA officials say they never had any intention of doing so, and while agreeing to a peaceful resolution to their grievance say now they never had any intention of doing that either.

Of course, they are saying that now. This is a blood feud that started nearly a hundred years ago. You can't trust either side any farther than you can throw. The only way this will work is you bring them to a table, hold their feet to the fire and then have them sign an agreement in blood. And even that approach is very iffy.

At the very least, Israel was following up in many ways to things it had agreed to when it signed Oslo. I'm hard pressed to think of a single item that the PA lived up to.

Since the Oslo Accord, Israel has moved nearly 200k settlers into the WB and Gaza. That's one major break from the Accord and clearly, shows Israel's bad faith in these negotiations.

Remember what I said when we first started posting. I don't see either side as being saints. However, I am tired of the American bias that favors the Israelis over the Arabs. On many different levels, it does us very little good, and in the end, its not helping the Israelis one iota.

I want the US to take a more neutral position where both sides experience our largesse AND our criticisms. Otherwise we will be of little good in resolving this feud..........and it is a blood feud with all that that implies.
