Ruff, please notice that these teachings from the Talmud are the fundamental bedrock teachings of the Jewish religion. Orthodox Jews consider the Babylonian Talmud the height of human wisdom. The Talmud is not just another book but the holy of holies for Orthodox Jewish doctrine and dogma.
