I know nothing about the pricing on office buildings, but the BRCD building is probably worth what they paid for it, because the Brocade sign is visible to anyone coming in for a landing at the SJ airport and that is a lot of name recognition. I learned never to underestimate stuff like this when a competitor of my last startup company had an office across from the transamerica pyramid.
