David, thanks for clearing the air. With BW having promised Mr F to do a "fair" story and ommitting any positive aspects of the claims, being owned by defendant McGraw-Hill, and your story having appeared in the "nick of time" for the BW article, it sure seemed awfully suspicious. Aharonian always pans GIFT, his knowledge by his commentary, seem to come from opinion, rather than knowledge. What are his qualifications? Dave, you are right that the patent will be limited by any prior art. Other than your testimonial, which lacks the "specs" of that system, no one has otherwise "found" prior art. I know IBM searched and did not find any. I assume the other licensees did not either. Thanks for taking the "mystery" out of your message. Mel
