The Purple Heart is given for ANY wound, even a minor one. You cannot fake a Purple Heart nor would anyone. It's just never done. Kerry had no control over the Purple Heart process.

Quit attacking our honest war heros. Kerry could have been killed at any time during his 120 days of pure hellish combat. Instead he took the offensive and killed enemy. More than 20 of them personally. He also took three shrapnel wounds.

Bush has never risked a scraped knee in his life, evaded the war, went AWOl, quit early to go to Harvard and lied about it. There is no comparisons between these two men except they both went to Yale. Kerry makes Bush look like a moral midget in every respect but fundraising, elite last name and family money.
