Kris,

Sorry it took me so long to repond I been on vacation. I got the
recent earnings report and I was disappointed at the result. The
report could have been worse however. Essentially the earnings for
the second quarter are even with last year. I was expecting the
second quarter earnings to be five cents instead of three. I have
brought my average cost per share down to $1.85 with recent
accumulation and am currently holding. I believe the third quarter
is the key in the near term. Last year the company reported strong
earnings in the third quarter.

The good news is that the company's balance sheet remains strong
and the opportunity for growth is still there. Hopefully we have only
seen a hicup in earnings growth and the new product line will create
increased sales in future quarters. Another strength I think the company
holds is its world-wide customer base. It apears that the semiconductor
industry is growing faster abroad than in the US and Vitronics should
be able to capitalize. Long-term prospects continue to look promising.

About the question of news releases. I am not aware of any way to
get news releases beyond the traditional business news wires (rueters
& comtex mainly). The investor relations department at Vitronics is
helpfull and this may be the best bet for unreleased news. I plan on
contacting them to inquire as to the expectations of the third quarter.
