re: If you want to see the "shades of grey" that conservatives supposedly can't see, you should note that the Iraqi prisoners were "merely" humiliated, instead of killed and mutilated like the American civilians. Other "shades of grey" you might include are that we're occupying their country, not the other way around. That the US "civilians" were mercenaries, and they were not prisoners. And that actually it looks like we did kill a few prisoners. Your grey perception is limited. Making excuses for this behavior is a tough assignment; being a Bush supporter must be hell.
