DSL question.
A friend of mine cancelled his DSL account (he moved to an area where its not offered) and he said I could have his DSL modem.

Here is my question. My wife's computer sits about 5 feet away from my computer. She still has Dialup with MSN.
Can I run a phoneline from my DSL line to her computer and hook up the DSL modem on her computer? I would in effect be running two computers off of my DSL line wit two seperat modems.

The reason I ask before I try to do this is I don't want to do something illegal that might cause my DSL account to be turned off.
