I totally disagree with you goldworldnet:

1) You say "the Arabs won't be any nicer" like they are monolithic. Of course like us they all hold differing views. Some Arabs will be nicer some won't. Some are liberals, some are moderates and some are conservative and some are Fanatics. Same as the Israelis.

2) The cycle of violence and revenge creates more Arabs who are "not nice" and more Iraelies who are "not nice". Even when there is a case for the justification of revenge innocent parties are injured and wronged. This creates more hatred and more parties interested in revenge. It doesn't matter whether the revenge is perpetrated by Israel's organized armed forces or a teenager who is full of hate.

3) Peace will only come when the leaders of both sides have the COURAGE to work towards peace. I say courage because it will take a long time for people who have had relatives killed or wounded to accept that they can no longer take revenge even if it seems justified. Or the people who cannot forgive and forget will have to die. That's going to take some time. The easy way for these politicians is the revenge way, it takes far more courage to speak the truth and tell people what they don't want to hear which is revenge, even if justified is CAUSING the problems.
