Women with genderless screen names (like yours, mine, and American Spirit's) get mistaken for males pretty frequently. If we wish to set the record straight WRT gender, we do. When I made a mistake with AS, he PMed me and set me straight.

Knowing he was male, I believe I've posted twice-- once on this thread, once on "Things that Amuse Me", that I though AS was male. That fact didn't stop the "he or she" postings on the part of those who make it a habit to argue with him and post about him. And that includes you.

the same is based on the content of AS's posting as opposed to a slam against women, as far as I can see.

What is it about AS's posting style that has you continuing to refer to him as "he or she", even after I posted that he was male?
