The vets against Kerry are a pack of shameful liars. If you're worried about your career back home you don't do into combat in the hottest zone in Vietnam for 120 days straight. Many many people died there. Kerry was lucky to have survived. He only did so by going on the offensive and killing enemy before they killed him. That is the essence of a brave combat leader.
