These lying rightwingers are the worst in history surely. You're right too, the reason they lie so much and are so evil and desperate is because they see the polls. While the election remains tied in many ways, Bush's approval numbers are at 46% and no president has ever been elected with approvals less than 52%. Plus, the Iraq War is a total mess and the budget and jobs problems are horrendous. Bush basically has no plan for anything except to stock with what's already been done, which will just lead us further down the road to perdition.
