Some people around here need to be reminded that we pay for the service. And that the staff should be working to better our satisfaction with this service. Instead, we get treated like misbehaving children whose toys should be taken away to teach them a lesson - But Only If We Misbehave Towards Management. We get insulted with every single cuss word known to man and then some of the more imaginative variety, and the perpetrators don't get the boot. Because we are lowlife subscribers, not "admin". Letters to customer service reporting TOUs don't necessarily get answered.

Eating in a restaurant, we would be royally pissed if a waiter sat at our table, started a fight with a friend sitting with us, and then threw him out because he was insulted. The parallel is probably not lost on many who were around when Box got banned from SI for life.

Don't get him started with those paranoias, would be my advice. He was fairly convinced at some point that I was "a paid agent of the CIA/NSA cabal" (?) although I cannot, for the life of me, remember saying a single good thing about Bush et al.
